Empowering Young Minds: Yaan Foundation Summer Camp 2026 Concludes Successfully at Jakarpalayam Village, Coimbatore District The month-long Summer Camp 2026, organized by Yaan Foundation at Jakarpalayam, concluded on a high note with a vibrant Valedictory and Felicitation Ceremony on 31st May 2026. This was the first time such a residential summer camp was organized in the village. The response from the community was overwhelming, with 170 applications received. Students enthusiastically participated in a diverse range of skill-development courses including Silambam, Karate, Computer Education, Spoken English, and Drawing. Beyond acquiring new skills, participants developed greater confidence, discipline, creativity, and teamwork. The camp clearly demonstrated that when given the right opportunities, rural children are eager to learn and excel in multiple areas. All participants received certificates of completion. To celebrate excellence, the top two performers in each course were awarded a Shield and a Cash Prize. These recognitions served as powerful motivation for the young learners. A heartfelt feedback session highlighted the camp’s impact, with students sharing how the program boosted their confidence, helped them acquire new skills, and fostered lasting friendships.
