Free Flight programme

Soliga tribes of Bargur hills of Erode are unaware about the opportunities of mainland and welfare schemes of the government which results in reluctance in education. To encourage the re-joining of dropout students and improve the admission of new students we arranged a one-day free educational tour for 19 Soliga tribal students studying in govt schools at Bargur hills. We conducted an eligibility test in various Government schools and selected these students. We also added two Irula tribal students of Palani. It will be a free flight journey from Coimbatore to Chennai and by train backwards. The students visited an I.T sector company, Planetarium, Museum and the beach. It was the first flighting experience to all.

We are doing a docu film about this and it will be screened at their living areas.
