Republic Day Essay Writing and Drawing Competition at MNM High School, Jakkarpalayam On the occasion of Republic Day, Yaan Foundation organized an Essay Writing and Drawing Competition for students of Classes 6 to 9 at MNM High School, Jakkarpalayam. The competitions were conducted with the objective of encouraging students to think creatively, express their ideas confidently, and develop awareness about village development and environment responsibly. Competition Topics Essay Writing Topic: Changes Needed for Our Village Drawing Competition Topic: Clean and Green India Student Participation Around 55 students actively participated in the competitions, showcasing their creativity, thoughtful ideas, and enthusiasm. The students’ participation reflected their concern for social development and a cleaner, greener future. Prizes and Certificates Based on the set evaluation criteria, Winners were selected across various categories and a total of 3,000 INR and Certificate awarded to them as token of appreciation. Additionally, all participating students were awarded Participation Certificates by Yaan Foundation, recognizing their interest, creativity, and enthusiastic involvement. Conclusion The event was a meaningful part of the Republic Day celebrations and highlighted Yaan Foundation’s commitment to nurturing creativity, awareness, and civic responsibility among school students. The foundation looks forward to organizing more such educational and inspiring activities in the future.
