As part of Yaan Foundation’s continued efforts to support the education and well-being of students from tribal and forest communities, one pair of school uniforms was provided to students from Classes 9 to 12 at Nellivasal Forest School, Jawadhu Hills, in the month of Aug 2026.

The uniform distribution programme was conducted under the leadership of the Singarapettai DFO, bringing together school students, teachers, forest department officials, and Yaan Foundation representatives. The initiative was aimed at supporting students with essential educational needs and creating a positive and encouraging school environment.

For students from remote forest communities, access to basic educational necessities can make a meaningful difference in their learning journey. Providing uniforms not only addresses an essential need but also helps students attend school with confidence, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
